Kimberley Kennedy Teams Up With WIFTA

ATLANTA - Aug. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- First, she teamed up with Atlanta-area television outlets WSB, WXIA and CNN. Now, Emmy-award winning journalist turned author Kimberley Kennedy is teaming up with Georgia's foremost entertainment industry in support of women: Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA). Kennedy will serve as the host of the 2013 WIFTA Annual Gala & Awards Ceremony on October 20, 2013.

The evening promises to be a wonderfully entertaining night for Gala attendees. In addition to honoring notable entertainment industry professionals and organizations, this year's Gala fundraiser will also include a screening of one of the projects created through this year's WIFTA PSA and Mentorship Program, the presentation of the WIFTA Tuition Scholarship, a silent auction and time for networking and dancing.

The WIFTA 39th Annual Gala Awards Ceremony & Dinner is open to the public. It will be held on October 20, 2013 at the Georgia World Congress Center, which is located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW Atlanta, GA, in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom (bldg B) starting at 7:30pm. Kimberley Kennedy is an Emmy award-winning journalist who’s spent the majority of her career in the Atlanta market as a news reporter, anchor, writer, and producer at WSB, WXIA and CNN Headline News.
