Garrette Custom Homes Offers One-Level Home Catalog

PORTLAND, Ore. - Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Leading Northwest luxury home builder, Garrette Custom Homes announced today the development of a one-level home plan catalog, showcasing the companies award winning one-level home plans.

Garrette began developing the new collection of floor plans in 2011 and then launched the plans in 2012.  Since then, the homes have been very well received and experienced strong sales.  Last month The Building industry Association of Clark County honored Garrette custom Homes with their Building Excellence Award for its “Cascade” plan.

The popularity of the homes led to the development of the single level home catalog.  It is free and available on the Garrette website.  The catalog was developed in-house by the company’s marketing department.  

The catalog features 11 single level home plans.  The home plans included in this special collection range from a cozy 1,791 square foot home to a spacious 3,226 SF ranch with an upstairs bonus room.   Single-level homes are the single most popular plan asked for by buyers when requesting a plan that interests them.  The buyers of these plans are often purchasing their “move-up” or intended “final” home.  The demographic market for these homes often includes a buyer over the age of 50.  The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) began tracking the over 50 year-old buyer more intently and has reported that sales to this demo have been at an all-time high since the tracking began.

The catalog also contains a full listing of the standard features that Garrette Custom Homes offers and information about other free home building resources that the company offers, including free getting started seminars and invitations to visit the company’s 5,000 square foot design center to see the latest in home designer amenities.
