The Siri Standard is coming to Lexus of Melbourne

VIERA/MELBOURNE, Fla. - Aug. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The Siri Eyes-Free system will soon be standard in the 2014 Lexus ES, GS, LS and RX, allowing Lexus drivers to talk to their favorite personal assistant while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Drivers simply pair their personal iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 with a Lexus vehicle via Bluetooth, allowing Siri to perform an amazing array of tasks.

Need to make a hands-free call on the highway? Ask Siri to connect you. Need to send a speedy text message or email? Just dictate it to Siri, and if there’s a reply, Siri reads it aloud over the audio system. The system also provides turn-by-turn navigation using Apple Maps.

Siri Eyes-Free is now the third way to use voice control in Lexus vehicles, the others being the voice-recognition for navigation, audio, and climate control systems, as well as direct voice communication with the optional Lexus Enform system’s live-response-center agents.
