Kingdomwood Film Institute - Call For Proposals

ATLANTA - Aug. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- atlanta, ga:  Kingdomwood Film Institute (KFI) the educational arm of Kingdomwood Christian Film Festival (KCFF) is accepting proposals from industry professionals to lead workshops and seminars at the 2013 Festival.  Each year during KCFF, there are seasoned and aspiring faith-based filmmakers looking to learn the ins and outs of the movie business as it relates to the faith-based film industry.   In support of their mission to encourage filmmakers to produce films with family friendly spiritual values, KCFF offers industry related seminars and workshops through the Kingdomwood Film Institute (KFI). The 2013 Festival is taking place October 3-6, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta, GA.

When asked about the importance of the Kingdomwood Film Institute and its courses, KCFF Founder Audrey Thomas states that, “We make sure to offer these classes, workshops, and seminars during the festival and throughout the year to support our filmmakers in creating quality films with proper lighting, sound, editing, well-trained talent that can then be shown in theaters and put into the faith-based film distribution system.”

The Kingdomwood Film Institute is looking for proposals covering the following areas

We seek experienced industry presenters for the following Festival Workshops Topics:

·         Directing

·         Film Financing

·         Screenplay writing

·         Acting

·         Post-Production

·         Lighting

·         Sound

·         Editing

Kingdomwood Christian Film Festival is a 3-day faith-based film festival, started in 2008. KCFF screens full features, shorts, and documentaries, and offers workshops and symposiums that offer insight and analysis of industry trends in faith-based filmmaking and production.
