Worlds First Full Carbon Fiber Wheel on a Sportscar

IRVINE, Calif. - Aug. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Bulleta Motors of Irvine, CA has released the first  full carbon fiber wheels to be offered standard on a production supercar. The full carbon fiber wheel will be offered on the Bulleta RF22 Supercar. Carbon Fiber is used in aerospace and in formula one car racing and is one of the lightest and strongest materials known for applications in aerospace and high performance cars. Carbon Fiber wheels reduce critical unsprung weight in the wheels requireing less energy to turn the wheels during acceleration. The 19" wheels weigh 14 lbs which is a 12 lb weight savings from each wheel. This lower enertia allows the Bulleta RF22 go achieve a 0-60 accleration time of 3.6 seconds and feel lighter around turns.
