VOYCE Announces Fundly Campaign to Gain Donations In 10 Day Time Period

Non-profit Organization Seeks to Raise $3,000 for Creative Work
By: VOYCE

ST. LOUIS - Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Aug. 20, 2013 - ST. LOUIS - 2013 has been a very productive year for VOYCE, a United Way member agency, formerly known as the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program. The non-profit organization has undergone a name change, as well as launched a new website; voycestl.org. (http://www.voycestl.org/) In light of this, the organization is looking to re-connect with local donors within the St. Louis and surrounding areas, and also gain the support of new donors nationwide through the launch of aFundly (http://fundly.com/40-of-all-nursing-home-residents-are-visited-less-than-once-per-month-most-are-disabled) fundraising campaign.

The Fundly Campaign will assist VOYCE in raising vital donation monies in the amount of $3,000. These monies are needed to continue building awareness for the organization and its mission to educate and empower persons and their families for quality living across the continuum of long-term care.

In June, Tripp Co. Creative announced VOYCE as a recipient of a matching grant through its CR8 GR8 Grant Program (http://trippco.net/cr8gr8/). This grant will allow VOYCE to reach a wider donor base audience by first increasing awareness for the organization through its new name, and then creating a larger donor appeal. “We have been very fortunate this year and are grateful to all of our donors for their support. We know that this Fundly Campaign will be very successful and that it will help us accomplish our goal to raise funds for the next chapter in our organization,” stated Mary Lynn Faunda Donovan, Executive Director.

VOYCE has a time period of only 10 days to raise the funds.  “Although we only have a small amount of time, we are certain that all of our supporters, past, present and future, can see the need to continue to support organizations that speak for our elderly loved ones when they can no longer speak for themselves,” Donovan stated, “Please help us continue these efforts and keep volunteer ombudsmen and advocates in our long-term care facilities.” Visit the new site for more information on the campaign or go to: 40% Of All Nursing Home Residents Are Visited Less Than Once Per Month. VOYCE seeks to educate and empower persons and their families for quality living across the continuum of long-term care. Our goal is to become the principal source of information and advocacy for these individuals and their families. We empower and educate those we serve.
