Creta Maris Green Team Takes Action To Protect The Environment

HERAKLION, Greece - Aug. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Creta Maris Beach Resort Green Team organized a clean up and weeding of the area on August 9, 2013. This was done in an effort to preserve and protect the environment and natural heritage of Crete. A significant number of guests and employees participated in this event, making it a huge success.

Creta Maris Green Team, strives to spread environmental awareness and encourage the residents of Crete to contribute all they can to maintain a clean environment.

The Green Team’s mission is to support the Region of Crete, the Region of Heraklion and Heraklion Regional Municipalities by contributing towards activities related to environmental protection, such as cleaning public areas, beaches, planting trees etc.

Creta Maris Beach Resort has been operating since 1975. It has a capacity of 675 rooms, suites and bungalows, 6 restaurants, 7 bars, 7 swimming pools, gym, spa, Asteria Children’s Club, and many places for outdoor and indoor activities for children and adults.
