By: Women In Film & Television Atlanta Jennifer Brett is dedicated to giving Atlanta the most up to date information about the growing film industry in metro Atlanta. An accomplished journalist and blogger, she is keeping Atlantans plugged in by sharing her “insider information” In 2009 she was named one of Georgia Trend's, 40 Under 40 honorees. Brett has been seen on CNN and HLN and has been heard on countless radio programs throughout Georgia. Jennifer Brett is one woman, but the mark she has left, and continues to leave, on the Atlanta community is undeniable. This is why WIFTA has chosen to honor her as its 2013 Outstanding Contribution - Individual Award recipient. In addition to honoring notable entertainment industry professionals and organizations, this year's Gala will also include a screening of one of the projects created through this year's WIFTA PSA and Mentorship Program and time for networking and dancing. Also, since the Gala is WIFTA’s chief fundraising event--monies raised will enable the organization to continue and enhance its existing programming-- The Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) 39th Annual Gala Awards Ceremony & Dinner is open to the public. It will be held on October 20, 2013 at the Georgia World Congress Center, which is located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW Atlanta, GA, in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom (bldg B) starting at 7:30pm.
