ALP's odds drift to an all-time high at Sportingbet

SYDNEY - Aug. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- The ALP’s odds of winning next month’s federal election have drifted to an all-time high of $10 at Sportingbet Australia, eclipsing the $9.60 set back on May 16 when Julia Gillard was still Prime Minister. Those odds reflect a less than 10% probability of victory for the ALP, according to punters.

 

The Coalition’s odds of winning on September 7 have tumbled into $1.05 at Sportingbet.

“Punters have completely abandoned Labor and the money is running 90/10 in favour of the Coalition,” Brown said.

 

Punters have backed the Coalition to win between 91 and 100 seats from $3.10 into $2.40 at Sportingbet. The Coalition to win between 81 and 90 seats is $2.10.
