NYC Food Startup Chic A Peas Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Aug. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- NYC based start up, Chic A Peas is getting set to launch the first production run of their baked chickpeas product. The gluten free snacks will start off with two enticing flavors, Falafel and Sea Salt, with many new ones expected over the coming months.
Inspired by Mayor Bloomberg`s "NYC War on Junk Food", the two founders, David and Darren, set to launch a healthy snack alternative that included no questionable ingredients and actually tasted good.
The two SUNY Albany business graduates have taken to the digital fund raising site Kickstarter to raise capital for their first round of financing.
