XPAND 3D To Showcase Industry Leading 3D Technology at 19th ISU World Congress

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia - Aug. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Every two years, the International Stereoscopic Union organizes an International Congress for 3D enthusiasts and professionals. The ISU brings together 3D enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world. The 19^th ISU World Congress will be held August 20-26 2013 in Ljubljana, Slovenia at the Mestno Gledališče Ljubljansko – Ljubljana City Theatre.

The ISU congress is typically a one-week event with several hundred participants. During the congress there are many 3D projections, digital image and multimedia shows, trading-tables, exhibitions, workshops, excursions bringing together 3D enthusiasts from all over the world.

 

XPAND will be providing customized XPAND Passive 3D glasses for the screenings as well as presenting a workshop at the event. The workshop will be held Thursday August 22 and the title is Overview of Stereoscopic Techniques From Anaglyph to Auto-Stereoscopic. The presentation will be held by Andrej Tomeljak, Head of R&D at XPAND, at the MGL – Ljubljana City Theatre.
