By: E.H. Anderson Public Relations Josh is a native Central Texan who was ranked number one nationwide last year in the NSSA junior category. Now, the 2013 Crawford High graduate moves on to San Antonio where he was fiercely recruited to join the Trinity University Trap and Skeet program. He began target shooting at age five, and dreams of competing on the 2016 U.S. Olympic Shooting Team in Rio De Janeiro. By working with elite shooting Trinity Trap and Skeet coach Van Boerner, Josh is ‘setting his sights’ on achieving that goal. Anyone interested in setting up a time for interviews, photography or video can contact Megan Fleetwood by phone at 254-772-5909, or by email at megan@ehandersonpr.com . MORE ABOUT JOSH POOLE: Josh finished sixth in his graduating class of 42 from Crawford High School, and says the discipline he learned during 13 years of competitive shooting carried over to his success in the classroom. At age five, Josh began hunting as a fun way to spend time with his dad, however, his skill as a sportsman quickly grew. The hobby has taught him responsibility, given him confidence, and perseverance. He has a strong faith, and credits God for giving him the amazing abilities he has.
