LoanMart Racing expands Off- Road Team by adding Pro Buggy Driver Dave Mason Jr

ENCINO, Calif. - Aug. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Encino, CA Tuesday August 20^th 2013

LoanMart Racing is proud to announce it has added Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Pro Buggy driver Dave Mason Jr to its Off Road racing team for the remainder of the 2013 campaign. With representation already in the Pro 2, Pro 4 and Pro Lite classes the Pro Buggy class was missing the LoanMart colors. The addition of Mason will now give LoanMart a chance at a podium in every class during the exciting Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

Dave Mason Jr. a Valley Center native has been racing since 2001 in many different classes, and has been consistently fighting for the point’s championship since 2009. He is currently in his sophomore year in the Pro Buggy class with eight podiums thru ten races.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series continues with Round 11 and 12 in Reno, Nevada at the Wild West Motorsports Park August 23^rd-25^th. The Remainder of the season is as follows:

Round 13 & 14: September 20-21 (Night Races) Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas, NV

Round 15 & 16: October 25-27 Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park, Lake Elsinore, CA

About Dave Mason Jr.
 

Dave Mason Jr. is a driver who has consistently exceled since he began racing go-karts in 2001 at age eight. He won the first ever Trophy Kart race in 2006. That first season for the new vehicles, he claimed two victories and finished every race within the top five. The next year he finished second in the Kart, Jr-2 championship. In 2008, he moved up to the faster Modified Karts where he took several wins and top five finishes. At season’s end, he was third in the championship point’s race. The next season he equaled those impressive results. In 2009, he moved up again to the limited buggy class of the Lucas Oil Off-road Racing Series. Competing against seasoned veterans and several multi-time champions in the class, he achieved a victory and three podiums finishing sixth in championship points. 2011 was his breakout season in the Limited Buggies. He finished second in the championship with another victory, seven podiums and a top five in all but two races. In 2012, Dave was on the move again racing in the top open wheeled class in the Lucas Oil Series, the pro buggies. He ended up finishing the 2012 year with 2 podiums including the final race of the year with a 3^rd place finish. In 2013 thus far he has 3 3^rd place finishes as well as 5 2^nd place finishes.
