SEATTLE - Aug. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- 2Morrow, Inc., a behavior-change and tracking app developer, has partnered with the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) to create a new app to help patients track their progress and symptoms throughout therapy. This will allow patients to be able see even small improvements in their health.

“Innovative organizations like AA&MDSIF are at the forefront of user driven disease management. Through collaborations like this one, 2Morrow combines our mobile technology and behavior change expertise, with subject matter healthcare experts like the AA&MDSIF to address the challenges facing a specific population, in this case those with bone marrow failure diseases.  The combined learning will help us to continue to build better mobile tools for all users.”  – Jo Masterson, COO, 2Morrow, Inc.

For patients undergoing treatment for bone marrow failure diseases, treatment can be long and improvement can be slow. The AA&MDSIF Tracker can help patients to monitor their progress, record their reaction to therapies and even track their medication. The information can be shared with doctors and family, allowing everyone to see the progress.

“Current therapies to treat Aplastic Anemia, MDS, PNH and other bone marrow failure diseases often require repeated cycles before patients notice an effect and improvement in their quality of life. Stopping treatment early can result in less desirable results.  This app will help users track their own progress and see even small improvements overtime.”  - Stephanie Chisolm, PhD, Senior Director of Programs & Services at the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation

AA&MDSIF chose 2Morrow, Inc. to work with because of 2Morrow’s extensive experience with behavior modifying apps. AA&MDSIF provided the detailed subject matter and 2Morrow provided the digital expertise to mobilize that information for use by the patient.

The apps are available free for all patients living with bone marrow failure diseases:
