Karah Britton Does Improv Comedy With Scared Scriptless L.A.

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Karah Britton, the Los Angeles-based film and television actress, is fast becoming a regular at live comedy. Just weeks after appearing at a Burbank comedy club doing a stand-up comedy routine, Britton appeared with the improv comedy troupe, Scared Scriptless L.A.. in a performance in Hollywood.

 

“I love performing and I love doing comedy,” said Britton. “Being in front of the camera is of course why I am here in Los Angeles, but there is something about live comedy that really gets me going. I love being able to feed off the audience and seeing them react. So I’m happy whether on stage or on a set.”

 

Britton is the newest member of the comedy troupe, having only joined them this year. But she is fast becoming one of the key components to their every-other-month shows. 

 

The Los Angeles troupe is the local edition of the original and still popular Scared Scriptless group in Alaska. It is not surprising that Los Angeles would be home to an off-shoot of that troupe considering the strong live comedy roots present in Southern California. Many great comics and comedic actors have worked the stages and clubs of these streets. Karah Britton may well be the next breakout actor and comic.
