SystemWorks' Associates Receive Accreditations as Commissioning Professionals

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Aug. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- SystemWorks is proud to announce that associates Rick Boozell and Mike Davis have received new accreditations.  Mr. Boozell has received his CCP, Certified Commissioning Professional.  Mr. Davis has received his ACP, Associate Commissioning Professional.  Their achievement was recently published in by the BCxA in their quarterly newsletter. 

 

Rick Boozell has been in the control and mechanical industry for over seventeen years.  Rick is a LEED AP BD+C as certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and a TAB Supervisor in addition to his Certified Commissioning Professional designation.  Rick brings a wealth of knowledge in commissioning, retro-commissioning, building automation systems and MEP systems for office buildings, universities, K-12 schools, laboratories, and health care facilities. 

 

The ACP, Associate Commissioning Professional, is a designation earned by associate Mike Davis.  Mr. Davis is a fifteen year veteran in the controls and HVAC industry.  He holds multiple licenses from the state of Iowa including Refrigeration, Hydronics, and a Master HVAC license.  Mike will attain his CCP designation within the next year.

 

The designation of CCP or ACP requires a wealth of experience and learning.  According to the Building Commissioning Association, “The CCP is a recognized expert in the principles, application, and process of commissioning new and existing buildings.  The CCP designation was created to ensure high professional standards and provide a vehicle for demonstrating expertise in the building commissioning industry.”
