Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Luke Bryan is on a cross country trek with ACM Award winners, Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line. Luke’s career has rocketed towards superstar status in the past couple of years.

He has seen his recent album tailgates & tanlines sell over one million copies and remain a Top 5 album for all of 2012, co-hosted the “CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" special on ABC, taken home trophies at both the ACM Awards and CMT Music Awards and opened concert tours for artists such as Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw.

Follow-up concerts are scheduled for the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey on August 24, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York on August 25, 2013.

Next, Luke Bryan performs at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on August 28, the New York State Fair in Syracuse, New York on August 29, the Great Allentown Fair in Allentown, Penn. on August 30, and Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine on August 31, 2013.

The tour picks back up at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas on September 12; and after a gig at the Flatlands Music Festival in Kansas City, Missouri on September 13, concerts are scheduled in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Salt Lake City, Utah; Denver, Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Cincinnati and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.

October dates are scheduled at the Farm Tour in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Florida through October 12. The tour then picks back up for a last string of concerts in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Nashville, Tennessee; and Tampa, Florida. The wrap is set for the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on October 26, 2013.

But the country crooner has not only been busy headlining his Dirt Road Diaries Tour, he also released his new album, Crash My Party, last week. His hard work is paying off with first day sales numbers predicted to nearly triple those of his 2011 album, tailgates & tanlines.

His “Crash My Party” came in at number 1 with 530,855 copies sold. That’s a huge first week sale, better than nearly everyone else in 2013 including Jay Z, Kanye, and Robin Thicke.

The number 2 album, by K. Michelle, sold just 68,o00 copies.  Bryan also has an album at number 15, his Tailgates and Tanlines. That collection sold 15,200 copies. Last week’s number, “The Civil Wars,” fell to number 5 after one week.
