RIMSHOT Foundation Creates Awareness for Human Trafficking During the 50th March on Washington in DC

ATLANTA - Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- RIMSHOT Urban Musical is a theatrical production that seamlessly stitches the talents of a positive and innovative group of musicians, scribes, artists, and dancers while broaching the morbid truth of human trafficking.  RIMSHOT Urban Musical is a prolific production about a young woman's trepidations in a deceptive and predatory music network. Paralleling it's champion issue, human trafficking, the production highlights the sincere danger of a subversive industry.  RIMSHOT is inspired by survivor Chong Kim and activist Jada Pinkett Smith who work tirelessly to bring awareness to the growing epidemic.  

Ambassadors on the project anticipate delivering an interactive educational experience sponsored by the SCLC's Justice For Girls initiative for a group of students brought forth by a member of the National African American Clergy Leadership Group during the SCLC's national convention.  They will also participate in the march rallying for awareness of human trafficking.  "There are few civil rights violations more heinous than human trafficking.  We will be participating in the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington to bring awareness to an issue fueled by silence", says Angela Carswell, Playwright and Executive Producer.
