SC High School League & PlanetHS form Communications and School Fundraising Partnership

Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Columbia, SC & Jacksonville, FL- PlanetHS, provider of the only free, and safe student activity and athletic management social media platform is thrilled to announce its partnership with the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL).   SCHSL Leadership has chosen PlanetHS and its cloud-based service to be the exclusive eligibility submission platform for all high school athletes in South Carolina.  The two have set a lofty, though very attainable goal of $1M in additional revenue generated through PlanetHS school fundraising opportunities.

SCHSL will use this powerful platform to streamline communication with Principals, Athletic Directors, Coaches, Student-Athletes and Parents statewide. PlanetHS has worked closely with SCHSL to develop tools that include centralized schedules, scores, and statewide contests, with sponsors providing an additional revenue source for the association.

Very importantly, the PlanetHS platform can be used as a source of fundraising for schools and teams in South Carolina, allowing local businesses to demonstrate support for the schools in their community and receive a unique sponsorship presence with school family users.  Through its partnership with SC schools and local community businesses, PlanetHS aims to contribute more than $1 million in new fundraising annually to South Carolina schools and school-based extracurricular programs over the coming years.
