Schools participate in Painting Competition on Independence Day

 

Children from leading Gurgaon schools participate

 

Gurgaon/New Delhi, 19^th August 2013: GenNxt Eduserve and FINS Learning organized a painting competition for children aged 6 to 16 years at The Ridge Valley School in Gurgaon to commemorate the spirit of Independence Day. Children from various schools of Gurgaon namely Ridge Valley,  The Shri Ram School, Amity, Summer Fields and Ryan International School participated in the competition. The results will be announced soon and shall be available on websites of the two companies www.gennxt.com and www.fins.co.in.  It was heartening to note that some parents also joined in to draw and paint. The art competition was accompanied by hoisting of the national flag, various presentations and performances by the children and kite flying for the parents and children. The atmosphere was one of fun and patriotism. The paintings reflected the mood of the day and children expressed themselves in their own sweet and creative way. 

The dominant theme in the children’s paintings was of course Independence Day, and it was interesting to watch how the young ones interpreted the significance of the day in their own unique ways.
