NEW YORK - Aug. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Working hand in hand  with the centre, London Business School is not only helping them to bring into being ways to strengthen its income, but also making sure that the services offered for families in this area are protected.

The head of the Community Action Group at London Business School, Tina Clark commented: “London Business School has an active Community Action Group, which promotes volunteering amongst its staff. The School has partnered with organisations such as Career Academies UK, Young Enterprise and Kids Company and is actively building a relationship with the local community, particularly in the nearby Church Street area”.

She also added that London Business School, privileged with a beautiful garden on campus, is delighted to have the opportunity to open the garden up and invite the families from Portman Centre locality to enjoy a picnic with them.

In the vibrant area around Church Street, the Portman Centre, has become the backbone on which many families rely to help themselves develop and reach their full potential.

Face painting, Games and other fun activities have been organised for the enjoyment of the families attending the front lawn in the Campus, thanks to volunteers from The Lexington School Operations Delivery Team and The Caterers expressing their enthusiasm for the project.

The School has already been extremely helpful and their expertise is proving to be invaluable.
