NHTSA: Chevrolet Impala Earns Five Stars for Safety

Equipped with available radar and camera technology, the Impala can alert drivers to impending collisions with side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert and forward collision alert. Additionally, with crash imminent braking, the Impala will automatically apply the brake to mitigate impact if the driver does not respond to crash-threat warnings.
