It is official; 86% of respondents believe liking their boss makes them more productive

A recent survey by TipTopJob reveals that 86% of respondents believe that if they LIKE their boss then it makes them more productive in the workplace. This certainly backs up the theory in place by “National Hug Your Boss Day”.

“National Hug Your Boss Day” is this Friday the 23^rd August 2013. It was created to promote workplace relationships and to help identify the importance of getting on well with your boss and co-workers.

Following on from the survey results detailed above, a secondary question asked what makes a user more productive at work. Interestingly, “Good Working Relationships” were at the top of the list with 37% of respondents voting. “Being Happy” was the second most popular option with 22% responding. Other responses included: “Organisation” 15%, “Time Management” 11%, “Prioritising” 7%, “Increase of Managerial Discipline” 5%, “To Do Lists” 4%, “Having a Calendar” 1%.

“National Hug Your Boss Day” is a fun day with a serious twist that is ultimately there to make the working environment a better place for everyone.
