Careers World Magazine has Students Covered!

Careers World Magazine has always provided quality careers advice and guidance to its readers via its tri-annual publications.  At this time of year, a time when students are checking grades and making the next step, the focus is on results day.

As students gathered to nervously open their results, Careers World was standing by to assist those who hadn’t a clue what to do next, as well as ensure those with a plan were prepared for their next step.

Via their website, Careers World have an array of helpful fact sheets and survival guides which are there to provide support to those just picking up their results.

Their A-Level and GCSE results day survival guides are designed to give students of both age groups helpful advice on what their next step could be and, if they choose to do so, how to go about applying.

The A-Level survival guide features helpful tips for what to do on the day, as well as what to do if results aren’t what the student expected (in both a good and disappointing way).  It also provides students with a list of helpful things to bring with them on results day, such as UCAS numbers, offer grades and contact details for the universities they’re expecting offers from.

The GCSE survival guide is much in the same vein, but obviously aimed at a younger audience. There are still great tips on what to do if results came out different to the student’s expectations, but there are also a range of further education and career options for those who haven’t worked out what it is they want to do.

With GCSE results day on the 22^nd of August, students can receive their results safe in the knowledge that there’s somebody they can go to if things don’t go as planned.
