By: Me Fine Foundation Partnering with Duke and UNC’s children’s hospitals, Me Fine Foundation provides financial and emotional support for the families of terminally ill children, allowing them to dedicate their time to healing and recuperating. Since the inception of the Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope Program, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation has donated over $430,000 to 61 different charities. Me Fine Foundation was nominated by Executive Director Joey Powell and chosen in a drawing this past April, along with California based charity, Chelsea’s Hope. In regards to next week’s Helmet of Hope event, Joey Powell said, “We flattered to have been selected for this honor by the Jimmie Jonson Foundation and Blue Bunny. As we're currently seeking to grow our brand and the number of families we help each year, there's nothing quite like this type of support from such a recognized name in the sports world. We hope to see the Me Fine logo in Victory Lane!"
