Sponsors Line Up for the 2013 AMG Heritage Awards

The Guild just released a list of this year’s sponsors for the 2013 AMG Heritage Awards. The list of sponsors reads like a who's who of the corporate world. Recording star, David L Cook who also serves as the executive president of the Guild says that they are thrilled to have each and every sponsor on board. Cook said, "These sponsors are more than just product suppliers and monetary contributors. To us they represent companies that care about their communities by giving back and helping those who support their brands." 

 Jimmy Davis who serves as the president of the Guild's board of directors is pleased that the Guild is receiving such support and looks forward to a long relationship with each of the sponsors. He is quoted as saying, "This is a prime example of what the Guild has strived for. Our primary goal is to ensure that we are making an impact on the community we serve and to have the backing of the companies who work alongside of us in those communities is helping to fulfill our mission to the arts and its continued education."  

 Now you would think that the Artists Music Guild would have a hard time garnering support seeing that it is just celebrating its third year anniversary but you would be wrong! Since the Guild's inception we have had companies on board with us because they have seen and appreciated our goals. Chris Nowels, the executive vice-president of the Guild says, "We have been very fortunate to have people in high positions take out time to talk to us and to agree to help us meet our objectives. It is wonderful to walk into the board room of a major Fortune 500 company and have them tell you how excited they are to be able to help you. They are not excited about being a part of an awards show. There are tons of those and more popping up every day. What they are excited about, is our commitment to mentor with artists and to keep them safe. They are excited that the school systems have these wonderful artists visiting the classrooms to teach kids the importance of the arts. They are excited because it’s about all of us as people coming together to make a difference!"

The awards broadcast will take place on Nov 9, 2013 and will be held at the historic Barn at Regent Park (former PTL Studios, former home of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker) and is hosted this year by legendary music icon, Chubby Checker.
