Beg, borrow, steal, collaborate- The No Budget Film Festival is looking for the next generation of visionary filmmakers.

 

The only catch? All films must be made for ZERO dollars.

 

That’s right. We want to bring filmmaking back to the people.  The 2013 No Budget Film Festival, taking place the last week of September, is geared towards finding the next great voices in cinema and giving them a platform to stand on. Now in it’s 4th year, this red carpet, industry-heavy festival will occur over a week of exciting and unique events including star-studded panels, exclusive (and non stuffy) networking opportunities, parties parties parties, and of course, a packed screening showcasing the most cutting-edge, innovative work created internationally by emerging, thrilling filmmakers. After two successful years at the Downtown Independent, the No Budget Film Festival is moving its screening event to the historic Vista Theater in Los Feliz. The 2013 festival will see the return of our private filmmaker dinner, original art inspired by the accepted films and panel day entitled “Bonus Features”, and addition of a one on one event between filmmakers and industry professionals and an official Gala/Awards Ceremony event following the screening.

 

Late deadline added for August 22nd at 5pm Pacific.
