Int'l. Recording Artist & R&B/Soul Singer HESTON Wins Award For "Outstanding Album" at EOTM Awards

ATLANTA - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Soul Singer HESTON is on a mission to share his music with the world.   Last week, the Dominica born, soul crooner jet set across the country to Los Angeles for his "Love Junkie Listening Tour" and to perform at the inaugural EOTM Awards at the Pacific Design Center.  Heston was nominated for four categories. He was one of four nominees for the "Outstanding Album" category, and he returned home with the EOTM award for "Outstanding Album" for his "Warm Human, Cold World" album.

Heston, an Atlanta-based musician, composer, songwriter and producer possesses one of those rare, “instant classic” voices laced with confident sensuality, informed by the best side of mellow 70’s soul.  His music has received stellar reviews, both national and international airplay, and he has performed at some of the top venues around the country and abroad, to include Europe and the Caribbean.  His portfolio includes the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club, Blues Alley, Apollo Theatre, Highline Ballroom, Emancipation Park (Jamaica), The Jazz Café (London), Bizz Art Club (Paris, France), The Union Chapel Islington (London), The Tabernacle and numerous venues.


Heston's sophomore album, Warm Human, Cold World (World Soul Music/Dome Records) charted #1 for three weeks on Solar Radio in Europe and also hit the charts as one of the “Top 10 Albums on Soul Tracks”, Album of the Month and nominated for Soul Tracks Award.  Heston was also “Best Male Vocalist of the Year” in 2011 by Soul Tracks.

Heston is no stranger to the music industry, his 2008 independent debut album, Storyteller, was an instant hit in Europe and was critically acclaimed internationally and possessed an exceptionally well-composed body of original songs written and produced by Heston.  “Creating timeless music has always been my ultimate goal,” says Heston with a poised, yet humble demeanor. “I want to leave the world with music that can be played for a lifetime.”  Storyteller was name to the “Top 5 Soul Albums” of 2008 and also won two Soul Tracks Award Nominations.  In 2009, BET J nominated Heston for “Independent Artist of the Year”.
