Forrest & Jones Appoints Sales Supremo To Achieve Further Growth

PRESTON, U.K. - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- LANCASHIRE  based bespoke wallpaper experts Forrest & Jones have appointed a Sales Director to head-up the development of its new base in Manchester‘s Northern Quarter as part of their on-going expansion programme, it was announced yesterday.

Chris Brooks, the former Managing Director of bespoke wallpaper supplier Murum Es Ltd, who took up his new role at the Forrest & Jones Preston HQ at the beginning of the month said he aimed to double or even triple sales in the first year.

“Forrest & Jones have a wealth of experience and expertise in the wall coverings business and a reputation for producing high quality products,” said Mr Brooks from his Manchester office. “I intend to introduce them to my contacts in Greater Manchester, London and the South East and I would be surprised if we don’t come away with some significant orders.

“Forrest & Jones have been working with some leading designers to produce some incredible wall coverings, in addition to creating three new innovative product ranges, each of which has tremendous potential.

“My job is to raise awareness of these amazing products in the market place by talking to my business contacts across the UK.  And I know I have already generated considerable interest among those who I have spoken to so far”.

Forrest & Jones founder and managing director Gareth Jones and fellow directors Mark Forrest and Zara Armstrong have been busy developing three new and innovative product ranges that are already catching the attention of leading designers.

‘Magalomania’ is a unique new magnetic design system that can transform a wall into anything from a high-rise cityscape to a realistic rural landscape decorated with colourful magnetic characters. It can be used as an education product and is currently aimed at nurseries, schools and play barns.

Seamless Wallpaper is a PVC free, tough, polyester woven fabric that can be produced up to five metres high and by any length and which boasts pin sharp print quality. It’s already proving to be a hit with designers who don’t want to see the joins.

SwitchScene is another magnetic display system that uses the latest innovations in removable and re-usable magnetic graphics which is sparking excitement in the advertising and retail sectors.
