Follow on Google News | WhattheBuc.Net Throws a Huge, Fan Focused Kickoff Party for the Bucs 2013 Season!August 17th 2013 – 7:30 PM to 1:00 AM – Winghouse Tampa – 8001 West Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL
By: What the Buc Starting at 7:30, Bucs fans (and all others, we welcome all fans) will be participating in a large party celebrating the promise of a new season and some excitement around our Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Food and drink specials will be running throughout the night as the Krewe provides a fun and festive atmosphere to mingle with other fans about the team we all love. This is essentially an early tailgate being held at our sponsor’s location so the event will have the same “Family Reunion for family you haven’t met yet,” feel. While our normal tailgates are free of charge (we are donation and sponsor driven only), the fine folks at Winghouse still need to charge for their food and libations. There will be 6 great prize packages raffled off as well as a 50/50 raffle to drive funds to continue to allow us to run our free tailgate and support the various charities that our “What the Buc Really Matters” group has been supporting. (For a complete list, please email directly. Our request for 501(c)3 has been filed.) WTB? Tailgate Zone The largest and best tailgate in Tampa Bay, the WTB? Tailgate Zone has almost become a tourist location during the football season. We have hosted fans from over 20 countries and regularly have a “Who’s Who” of family and friends of players on both teams who appreciate our approach to a good time, copious food and drink and a clear goal of fun, fellowship, competition and charitable donations. Our tailgates are so amazing they have their own tailgate chef, Chef Red. His recipes are features on our site and known far and wide. If you come to our tailgate you will have a great time, get some great food and meet even greater people! WTB Really Matters We like our play on words, hence the name of our volunteer group. We wanted fans to know that there was more going on within the Buccaneers’ organization than football games, draft parties and players’ autographs. Our franchise is rich with players, past and present that are deeply involved in charities. Charities require “hands” and no matter your economic situation you can help. ABOUT WHAT THE BUC? This is the home of Fan-Based Tampa Bay Buccaneers discussion! We cover the Tampa Bay Area sports scene from the perspective of the informed fans. There are plenty of places to hear about the Buccaneers, but “What the Buc?” is the ONLY place to hear Bucs Radio from the heart and from lifelong fans! Come join our site and our broadcast and we will share our opinions about the team, directions and the excitement of following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Our broadcasts are, by design, interactive. While we stand by our content and feel we go deeper than most, we also relish our ability to speak our mind with no fear of reprisal. If you are in this Krewe you love the Bucs. That said, sometimes, even the ones we love screw up! You would be talking about this around a water cooler or at a sports bar anyway, so this gives us all a chance to compare notes, talk out our thoughts and maybe even learn a little.
