Aug. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- With all the high-tech photography systems we have today, creating your own professional 360 degree photography is a piece of cake. It used to be only available to iOS users but with the Photo Sphere functionality added to Android last year, 360 photography went mad viral.

Who wouldn’t love 360 degree photography, right? The ability to capture everything in your surrounding is pretty cool: front, back, left, right, all around. However to upload and share this type of photography was very limited and complex. Enthusiasts do not exactly know where and who to share it with.

So it was a great thing when Google announced early this month about an online photography community called Views (http://www.maps.google.com/views). We should also clarify that if you are an iOS user, this platform is not for you. Views is created by Google for their Android users who enjoy using the Photo Sphere 360 Photography functionality on their phones. They can now easily create and share their 360 photography publicly to Google Maps. Photo sphere are available for Android 4.2 or higher, including Nexus phones and the newNexus 7 Tablet. Another way is to upload photo spheres to views is directly from your phone’s gallery by tapping the share button and select Google Maps.

According to Google in their recent announcement, “Our photos help us remember and share the places we care about. When photos are added to a map, whether they’re from your camera or through Street View, they record unique experiences that collectively create the story of a place and what it looked like at a particular moment in time.”
