Personal Injury Work Recognised

DONCASTER, U.K. - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) has re-accredited the practice after a rigorous assessment process which examines both expertise and client care.   

APIL established the accreditation scheme in 1999 with the aim of providing the consumer with an independent kite mark which signifies competence and specialist expertise.

The assessment criteria also looks for high standards of client care and members must undertake mandatory annual APIL training to ensure they remain highly skilled.

John McQuater, partner and head of litigation, said: “This is an important kite mark as it reflects the firm’s expertise in personal injury work.

“It gives the consumer confidence that they will get honest, independent advice in a clear and understandable manner.

“Being a personal injury lawyer is not just about getting the most appropriate level of compensation, it’s also about helping the client to get their life back on track, whether that’s through accessing rehabilitation services or by adapting the home.”

Many of the firm’s personal injury lawyers are individually accredited by APIL as specialists in a wide range of injury types.     

Mr McQuater was named Claimant Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year in 2011 and provides comprehensive training for other personal injury and clinical negligence lawyers throughout the country.
