5 Pointz Previews Highlights of the HUF Summer 13 Range

The summer 2013 collection is tonally chaotic but full of brilliant ideas and eye catching looks for what has been a scorching summer so far. Rather than rest on their laurels, which isn’t really their style, HUF are offering everything from Hawaiian shirts to tie dye vests. They’ve also re-imagined some of their most recognisable pieces, including the creation of their brightest Plantlife socks yet.

The HUF Hawaiian Short Sleeve Shirt in Black Blossom features an all over custom floral print. This brilliant shirt is summer ready, and very Hunter S Thompson, although Hunter was never able to match his florals with the HUF Hawaiian Volley 5 Panel Cap in matching black blossom. The 5 Panel Cap features the same all over floral print, complete with a woven logo label on the front panel and the back, and a nylon strap with plastic buckle.

For some entirely different retro Americana, the hilarious HUF Die Hippie Scum Tank Top Vest Multi, features an all over tie dye pattern and a tongue in cheek ‘DIE HIPPIE SCUM’ screenprint. A subtle woven HUF label is sewn into the side seam, but all of the attention is sure to be drawn to the chest plate of this screamingly original vest. The Die Hippie Scum tank top is also available in black, and is also available in both colourways as a t shirt.

The HUF Bandana Metal ‘H’ Strapback Cap is available in blue, red and black, and is another example of the imagination at work at this leading indie label. It features a paisley pattern all over, just like an archetypal bandana. The pattern is broken up with a metal ‘H’ attached to the front and a leather size adjuster with metal clasp at the back.
