Ram Debuts Menacing New Look for Popular Pickup Truck

Side badging has been completely removed for a more streamlined appearance, and a black front fascia, black grille surrounded by black hex-link inserts, black rear bumper and 20-inch black aluminum wheels add to the ominous look.

Ram fans can expect even more power options in the upcoming 2014 Ram 1500, which will offer an all-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. The powerplant will be the first-ever diesel in the half-ton pickup truck segment, and Ram expects it to return better fuel economy than any gas-powered V6 in its class. Even with that promising efficiency, though, the diesel engine will still generate 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque and be able to tow up to 9,200 pounds.
