Attorney Chase Swanson Settles Case for Victim in Drunk Driving Accident

The intoxicated driver drove head-on into their client who was on her way home from celebrating her birthday. The at-fault driver was cited and arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) at the scene.

As a result of the impact, their client suffered chest pain, and right knee pain, in addition to burns along her arms and irritation in her eyes as a result of the airbags deploying. Their client was subsequently transported to the emergency room via ambulance and taken to the emergency room at WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta for treatment of her injuries. After her release, their client required additional physical therapy sessions and follow-up care with her doctor which resulted in substantial medical expenses and lost wages. When the at-fault driver’s insurer delayed and refused to make their client a fair and reasonable offer, attorney Chase Swanson filed a lawsuit on their client’s behalf and proceeded with litigation against the insurance company. Finally, the insurer relented and offered their client a fair settlement with which their client was satisfied.
