World Animal Awareness Society Honored As A Nationally Ranked 2013 Top-rated Nonprofit

BURBANK, Calif. - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The World Animal Awareness Society (WA2S) announced today that it has been honored with the prestigious 2013 'Top-Rated' Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

“We are excited to be named a 'Top-Rated' 2013 Nonprofit, this is our second such distinction in as many years” remarked WA2S Executive Director Tom McPhee. “We are extremely proud of our accomplishments this year, specifically the American Strays Project and the unique - contemporary tools we use to generate animal focused non profit outreach.”

The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that World Animal Awareness Society received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posting their personal experiences with the WA2S.
