Noube Productions’ documentary “Step Up” scheduled for screening at AOF Int'l Film Festival

BROCKTON, Mass. - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The acclaimed documentary Step Up has officially been added to the roster of films to be featured at the 2013 Action on Film (AOF) International Film Festival in Pasadena, CA. The film will be seen during the 4 p. m. block on August 21^st at the Krikorian Theater located at 410 S. Myrtle Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016.

Step Up tells the stories of several fathers who are either struggling to fulfill their obligations as fathers, and/or facing their feelings regarding their own absent fathers. The end goal of the film is to draw awareness to the negative impacts left on a child’s psyche when the father is not a part of his or her life. These effects often lasts a lifetime.

The documentary has received high praises due to its candid and in-depth interviews by individuals from all walks of life. These include: a popular radio disc jockey; a street outreach manager; and several single fathers. A group of single mothers provide additional insight into what daily life is like as they raise children without the presence of the father in the home, making Step Up a well-rounded, must-see film.

Step Up was created by the award-winning production team of Noube Productions. Comprised of Noube Rateau (Founder), Hakim Hill, and William Medero, the team is noted because of its mission to bring real people in real-life circumstances onto the screen.

The 2013 AOF International Film Festival is slated for August 16^th-24^th in Pasadena, CA. The festival features short films, documentaries and other projects from around the world.
