Bay Area Fashion Start-Up Brings Women’s Large Size Shoes To Miniature Art Exhibition
Large size Italian shoes brand LLXLLQ celebrates one-year anniversary with a new take on pop-up store in partnership with San Francisco miniature art café Dolce Amore.
The opening reception takes place August 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Dolce Amore, on Van Ness and Pine in San Francisco. The event will host an informal fashion show produced by Charleston Pierce of LLXLLQ shoes and Michael Boris NYC designs with musical performances by jazz pianist, Grant Levin, and Glide Ensemble lead vocalist, Emma Jean Foster.
The relatively new miniature art café Dolce Amore, known for their ambiance and tasteful servings, will provide Italian wine and hors d'oeuvres. Come for up-close-and personal interactions with fellow fashionistas and the team at LLXLLQ. 10% of all proceeds from the shoe exhibition will be donated to GLIDE (www.glide.org)
Over the last year, LLXLLQ has designed a combination of timeless, yet modern styles in shoe fashion and sold their Italian leather shoes in stores throughout the Bay Area. 48 of their most stylish shoes from the latest collection will be on sale at the event and throughout the exhibition.
“We are proud to collaborate with Dolce Amore, a like-minded partner, in showcasing all of the beautiful shoes in the LLXLLQ line and make them available for a larger audience off-line to see, feel and try. It is not only about celebration of women's larger size shoes (http://www.llxllq.com) - it is about entrepreneurship, inclusiveness and sharing of real-world fairy tales", Johanna Nilsson, LLXLLQ representative.
“Dolce Amore is created with the taste of love ~ the love of one another, the love of Life, the love of Art, the love of Food and the love of Sharing to one another.”
