Art Walk in Baytowne and More Moonlight and MoviesBridal Expo with Prizes on 30A, Alys Beach 5K, and Baytowne Wharf Hosts Three Day Art Walk
By: Garrett Realty At the Rosemary Beach Town Center, Moonlight and Movies continue with Here Comes the Boom on August 1st, Escape From Planet Earth on the 8th, and Oz the Great and Powerful on the 15th. All are welcome to attend the free movies under the stars with the family. Guests can bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the outdoor films. The Town Center will also host the Kid’s Rock the Block party on the 30th. This is a free event for kids of all ages to participate in arts and crafts, moonwalks, and face painting. The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra will be performing August 31st in the Seaside Amphitheatre. This will be followed by a grand fireworks display over the Gulf for a Labor Day celebration to close out the summer. The Alys Beach 5K and 1 mile Fun Run takes place September 1st. The 5K starts at 8am winding through the beautiful Alys Beach, beginning and ending at the amphitheatre. The Fun Run is for kids age 12 and younger and starts at 9:30am. This event benefits the Seaside School Foundation and features an obstacle course for all ages. Music, food, and drinks will be available in the amphitheatre. “Brides Just Want to Have Fun” Bridal Expo will be held at 30A Suites Celebration Hall on August 25th from 1pm-4pm. Visitors will get to know local wedding professionals with door prizes and a grand prize drawn at the end. The Village of Baytowne Wharf welcomes the fall season with a three day Art Walk beginning August 30th with world class art and live music at the Village Events Plaza. For wine enthusiasts, Wine World has wine tastings every Friday evening from 5pm-7pm. Cheese plates are available and discounts on cases of wine.
