Indie Rom-Com Is It Me? Starts Production

NEW YORK, Calif. - Aug. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- In association with Melange Enterprises, Deck of Cards Digital, the new media division for DOCEMG, began production on the romantic comedy web series, Is It Me?; initially filmed in Los Angeles, but now filming in New York City for its spin-off, Is It Me? was created by NYFA alum and producer, Holly McGuinn.

The rom-com is simply about dating in New York City in this day and age. On its Indiegogo page, it is questioned, "How many frogs does a female   have to kiss before finding her Prince Charming? How many witches must guys have to deal with in order to finally get to their princess? The hell if we know! We're just bringing you a much needed, refreshing romantic comedy web series that sheds some light on both the male and female perspectives in this crazy world of dating. (Our friends and family were sick and tired of listening to our war stories, so the next logical step was to bring it to an accessible screen near you.)"

DOCEMG's Martin Perry will be the cinematographer and editor for the series, while Samuel C. Morrison, Jr. will serve a producer and may come on board as a writer for a few episodes with Deck of Cards Digital receiving production credit for its banner.

Morrison states, "I've known Holly for years, it's about time we worked on a project together and I believe Is It Me? is the perfect project to start with."
