Second Annual There With Care Red Carpet Adventure Tickets on Sale

DENVER - Aug. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- DENVER – (August 1, 2013) – There With Care today announced that tickets are on sale for the second annual Red Carpet Adventure to take place on September 28 at the Cable Center on the University of Denver campus and on September 29 at the Boulder Theater.

The second annual event will feature an entertaining variety show and full-course gourmet dinner. A Red Carpet Adventure stars host Cheech Marin (Cars, Spy Kids), award-winning jazz pianist Justin Kauflin returning from the 2013 World-Tour with Quincy Jones, Natasha Marin (award-winning pianist), local musicians Zack Heckendorf (singer/songwriter) and Kenny Passarelli (base player for Elton John, Hall and Oates), from Boston singer/songwriter Heather Maloney and more. All proceeds from the event will benefit There With Care, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing fundamental services to families during the critical phase of their child's medical crisis.

“After many years of Harry Potter events, our first Red Carpet Adventure event last year was a huge success for There With Care. The funds raised played a vital role in helping us provide day-to-day support to families facing critical illness,” said Paula DuPre’ Pesmen, the organizations Executive Director. “There With Care helps families with daily tasks such as groceries, transportation to and from treatments, therapy and more, so parents can be with their child during a frightening and often fragile time.”

The benefit will host a “Stars” green room reception at 5 p.m., with the official party starting at 6 p.m. There are four different types of tables that people can reserve: Stars, Directors, Producers and Cast. About There With Care

There With Care is a community of people who dedicate their time serving children and their families when facing critical illness. The organization serves families who are referred by social workers, building a network of services and people who ease the burden of the day-to-day challenges with compassion and care. In 2005, Paula DuPre’ Pesmen left her film career as producer of the Harry Potter films to start There With Care. While on set, Paula met critically ill children and through them learned how isolated and overwhelmed their parents felt. In response, Paula founded There With Care to support each family by delivering daily services during their child’s medical illness. Since inception, There With Care has supported more than 1,400 families in Colorado.
