Entrepreneur Graphic Design Student

Aug. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- As a child Ebone’ Kennedy was always sketching and doodling or doing some type of arts and crafts. She loved to draw color and sketch in her drawing books. In elementary school she was always excited for art class and even joined the school’s art club to do more art in her spare time. As time went on she continued to strengthen her craft in middle school by taking on challenging art pieces and art contests. When she reached high school she took every art class available and succeeded in everything she did. She even joined the Arts Honor Society. Art always gave her happiness, whether it was drawing or painting. She even entered art to the State Fair and Scholastics and won great awards from both. In her junior year of high school she was introduced to Photoshop, while taking AP Photography class and that’s when it happened. She grew to love not only Photoshop but designing. She then begin to start getting more involved with using the software and incorporating her drawing and painting skills with her graphic skills to create unique art.

During Miss Kennedy’s senior year of high school, she was excited for college. She had already had her mind set on which art colleges she would apply to. She was ready to go with the strong portfolio she had developed over the past two years of high school. As a junior now in college and majoring in graphic design, web-design and interactive media; she is constantly improving her craft.

Coming up on her final year of college, Miss Kennedy will be graduating 2014 and is ecstatic to see what the world has to offer her as a graphic designer. As a progressing student she has decided to start her own graphic design business, to offset her college expenses. Through course projects and special projects her craft has matured allowing her to develop her own unique style. Although her business is in its infancy she has already developed quite a few clients, while startups may not have large budgets they provide perfect opportunities for students that have reached a certain level of expertise by providing a perfect marriage for both.  Allowing students the opportunity to make an income using the talents and skills obtained through their education and also helping businesses on a low budget expand and build their brand.
