PCTI recognised in EHI Awards for delivering patient correspondence electronically to GPs

PCTI, Microtech Support and NHS Tayside have been shortlisted in the Best Use of IT to Support Healthcare Business Efficiency category in the prestigious E-Health Insider Awards 2013.

CASTLEFORD, U.K. - July 31, 2013 - PRLog -- PCTI, Microtech Support and NHS Tayside have been shortlisted in the Best Use of IT to Support Healthcare Business Efficiency category in the prestigious E-Health Insider Awards 2013.

EDT Hub, the innovative electronic document transfer solution has sent millions of patient letters for NHS Tayside to GP practices. Typically 150,000 documents are sent electronically each month from 8 document sources ranging from the Out of Hours Episodes, Immediate Discharge Letters and Lab Results. The project demonstrates significant time and cost savings for the Health Board, GP Practices, Clinicians and Patients.

The project is part of the national roll-out across all health boards to deliver electronic correspondence directly into the heart of Docman in all GP practices.”
