Harpenden car showroom wins UK New Dealership of the Year award

ST ALBANS, U.K. - July 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Just a year from opening its doors on Luton Road, Harpenden, Brayley Kia and Mazda has celebrated its first birthday by winning a major industry accolade. The business was named ‘New Dealership of the Year’ at the 2013 Motor Trader Magazine Awards, held in London.

Attending an informal ceremony to mark the dealership’s first year in the town, which included the creation of a commemorative ‘1 YEAR IN BIZ’ registration plate, the Mayor of Harpenden, Councillor Rosemary Farmer, presented Paul Brayley, Managing Director, Brayleys Cars, with the trophy.

The judging panel for the UK motor trade’s biggest annual awards event highlighted Brayley’s demonstration of a clearly planned and executed launch programme supported by sound leadership, innovative marketing and short and long term business aspirations.

Presenting the award at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, attended by 1,200 motor industry executives, Curtis Hutchinson, Editor, Motor Trader Magazine said:  “A clear victor in a competitive field, Brayley’s new Kia and Mazda showroom in Harpenden was a textbook example of how to spot a business opportunity and engage with the local community.”
