SAN ANTONIO - July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The newly formed Downtown Pleasanton Merchants Association just contracted with a web design company in San Antonio (http://webtegrity.com/) called Webtegrity to develop a new website that will promote not only the city’s exciting new growth, but also encourage folks to visit, shop and stay in Pleasanton, Texas.

“So many people don’t even know where Pleasanton, Texas, is located,” said Cindy Carr, President of the DPMA. “Much less that there’s a vibrant business area with a rich history, thriving businesses and ongoing public events.”

The DPMA invested months in organizing the content that would be presented on their new mobile-friendly website.  Their hope is to become the hot spot to stop, eat and shop for all of the vacationers traveling from San Antonio down to the coast. They also want those in the Pleasanton area to stay connected and involved as the small town evolves.

“With a booming economy fueled by the EagleFord Shale, Pleasanton is experiencing a period of exciting growth and development,” said Carr. “New people and businesses are flooding in daily, and new stores, services and job opportunities are there to meet them!  The charming, old downtown area has awakened and is ready to meet the 21^st century!”

The website brings to light some pretty amazing historical facts about the quaint town turned booming city. You can see historical photos, find a hotel or restaurant, and even subscribe to their events calendar so you’ll always be up-to-date on the latest happenings.
