Dr. Jenn Thornton-Ascone Becomes Sole Proprietor of Palm Coast Chiropractic Center

Palm Coast, Fla. – On August 1, Jennifer Thornton, D.C., who has been co-owner of Palm Coast Chiropractic Center for eight years, will be the sole proprietor of the practice, located at 4721 E Moody Blvd. #101, in Bunnell.  

“I have enjoyed building such a successful practice in a partnership, but this feels like the right time to embark upon a new journey,” said Thornton. “I am excited to take the practice in a new direction while continuing to provide the best chiropractic care possible for my incredible patients.”  

Thornton is originally from New York, and moved to Palm Coast in 1989 with her family. She is a graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School and graduated with her doctorate in Chiropractic in 2000 from Life University. She met her husband Tommy in Flagler County and they have three children: twins Cooper and Chloe, 3-years-old; and 1-year-old Carter. Thornton’s long-time office manager, Sherrie Hobby will remain in her current position supporting the clinic.

Members of the Flagler County community recently rallied in support for Cooper, who has Shone's syndrome, a rare defect that disrupts the workings of four of the valves inside the heart.  Earlier this year, Cooper underwent rare heart surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in New York City.  “After witnessing his incredible recovery, I’m confident I can accomplish anything with my family by my side,” said Thornton. Thornton added that she truly enjoys treating children since they respond and recover so quickly to chiropractic treatment.
