SANTA MONICA, Calif. - July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- If there's one thing that Santa Monica based bike shop loves as much as riding, it's Summer. Every Summer Bike Attack plays an active role in the nightlife and festivities that can be found at the Santa Monica Pier by giving away a free bike every Thursday night.

The first concert started on July 11th at 7pm, but it's not too late to stop by the pier and enjoy the fun. When it comes to activities at the Santa Monica Pier, these summer concerts top the list. People can relax and listen to great live music or kick it on the beach or at the pier.

Besides the fun there are some other cool things happening. This year Bike Attack has partnered again with Santa Monica’s best local paper, The Santa Monica Daily Press, to give away a bike every night!

All people need to do is stop by Bike Attack's booth on the pier, sign up with a valid email address and name and then LIKE Bike Attack's Facebook page. It's a small price to pay for the quality free bikes that they are giving away. Winners are announced the following week.

The Twilight Summerc Concert event is for anyone, Grab families, friends and enjoy classic and emerging live band performances, pier fun, and beer gardens galore. O.K., the beer gardens aren't for everyone, but the fun is. KCRW DJs host each show. Every Thursday, July 11 – September 12. 7pm.

BIKE ATTACK:

Bike Attack plays an active community role in the Santa Monica and Los Angeles, California areas. For more information about Bike Attack, take a minute to check out their website and blog where visitors can see the winners of the bikes that have been given away so far this Summer. Bike Attack is the Santa Monica bike shop that keeps the world rolling. If it’s got two wheels, Bike Attack sells it, ships it, repairs it, customizes it, races it, or puts together expert comparisons and reviews of it for cyclists everywhere. When it comes to selling bikes online or in-person, there aren’t many bike shops who can claim as rich a history as Bike Attack—a bike business that got their start by serving US soldiers, embassy members, and their families in Germany. When the US Army left Germany in 1995, Bike Attack was converted into a bicycle retail store for the German public and quickly became famous in Germany as a distributor of Merlin and Bontrager bike brands. In 2005, US downhill and BMX racer Ericson, his wife and Canadian partner Andrew brought their love of US, Canadian and European bikes to Santa Monica, California.

The concerts have already begun — don't miss another one, come on down to the Santa Monica Pier at 7pm.
