Business minds prepare to launch their idea with Entrepreneurship Summer School

NEW YORK - July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Over 50 knowledgeable mentors from an international Innovation and Entrepreneurship community will be working and guiding the group of eager entrepreneurs in order to develop their business ideas. The program aims to fully explore the core and possible operations of these businesses in direct interaction with prospective customers, funders, stakeholders and suppliers.

The founder of Hotpod Yoga, Maxwell Henderson, who is a former participant of the Entrepreneurship Summer School, commented:  “London Business School’s Entrepreneurship Summer School made me think about my business idea in a practical way. It forced me to understand every element and to be prepared for every challenge. Critically it gave me confidence and a network to help me on my way. After the launch of the Entrepreneurship Summer School in 2001, the program has propelled:

·         212 start-ups

·         46 alumni have started two or more businesses

·         More than 1,200 jobs have been created by these businesses

·         Businesses have raised more than £476 million in equity from angel investors, venture capitalists, industry, suppliers, government, grants and other sources.

London Business School’s Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Executive Director, Jeff Skinner shared: “This is the entrepreneurial highlight of the year for us.  The Entrepreneurial Summer School is a cauldron of entrepreneurial fervour. Students arrive hungry to build their own ventures but not knowing how to go about it.
