ISBR Bangalore to host its Annual Convocation on 27th July 2013

BANGALORE, India - July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- ISBR Bangalore is holding its annual convocation ceremony on the 27^th July 13, to honor its meritorious students. They will also be having an Alumni Meet following the convocation ceremony. This Alumni Meet is expected to be attended by a number of well placed past students of ISBR Bangalore located PAN INDIA, who will meet in order to appoint their President, Treasurer, Joint President, Joint Treasurer, Zonal Head in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata.  A starry extravaganza is likely to follow which will have fun and frolic galore.

The Event will be chaired by Shri Prakash Kothari, Chairman, ISBR Group of Institutions and Director of Globus Builders. This event will be presided by Shri Manish Kothari, Managing Director, ISBR Group of Institutions. Other attendees who are expected to grace the occasion are Shri M. N. Vidyashankar, IAS, and Principal Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, Commerce and Industries department, Shri H. V. Harish, Partner, Grand Thornton India and President Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shri Nobuaki Yamamoto, Consul General and Head of Consulate of Japan, Smt. Umashree, Hon’ble Minister of State for Women and Child Welfare Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka, Nadoja Dr. Mahesh Joshi, Additional Director General, Doordarshan Kendra, Dr. C. Manohar, Dean ISBR Bangalore, Mr. Mayur Jain, Trustee, ISBR Bangalore, Mr. Bharat Jain, CEO, ISBR Bangalore, Dr. K. S. Anandraman, Director ISBR Bangalore, Dr. Chandra Niranjan, Advisor and Mr. Kiran Bindu, Director ISBR Bangalore. A host of other dignitaries from the Education Department of Karnataka are also expected to attend the event.

The event is expected to commence with registrations of both the graduating students and the guests, with the registrations for the students starting from 8:00 am. The registrations will be followed by a session of networking and breakfast.  Post the break, there will be a lighting of the lamp followed by a Welcome Address. The Presentation of the Annual Report will follow the Welcome Address. Once the Annual Report has been presented, the convocation will be declared open. After brief sessions of Administering of the Oath, Award of Gold Medals to meritorious students and Conferring of Certificates, Shri M. N. Vidyashankar, IAS, will present the Convocation Address. The event will also include an Address by the Guests of Honor, Shri H. V. Harish and Shri Nobuaki Yamamoto, which will be followed by the Release of ISBR GEMS by Shri Nobuaki Yamamoto, the Consul and Head of the Consulate of Japan. The Felicitation of the Corporate Guests, likely to attend the event, will follow the Release of ISBR GEMS, which in turn will be followed by a vote of thanks given by the Chairperson. The event will end with the singing of the National Anthem.

This gala event will culminate in an evening of fun and frolic in which everyone will be treated to a cultural program. Eminent celebrities from the entertainment world are likely to participate in this cultural program.
