Education on Wine And Spirits (WSET) At Velassaru Maldives

July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Velassaru Maldives is happy to announce that several of its team members from Food and Beverage Department have successfully finished WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust), the most recognized education on wine and spirits worldwide. The training conducted by a WSET educator and a professional sommelier, Mr. Enrico Donati, took place at Velassaru from June 26th till 5th July.

WSET is today a real must for Food and Beverage professionals and it is highly recognised in more than 80 countries worldwide. The program consists of four levels, which includes theoretical part as well as the wine and spirits tasting. Our team members have successfully finished the level two, which is a stepping-stone for acquiring proper product knowledge of wine and spirits industry.

Velassaru Maldives will be organizing WSET trainings in the future as well in order to further enhance the wine service in all Velassaru restaurants and bars.
